Why we started Planner Bee

We built Planner Bee to bring better, personalised financial advice to everyone.

Financial planning hasn’t kept up with today’s technology. On both the client and advisor side, the process is bogged down with paperwork and disparate data, preventing most people from getting a full picture of their financial status. Without a consolidated view, it’s hard to see how you’re really doing—like if you have adequate insurance coverage. Or how your investments are performing, even how your cash flow is like across bank accounts.

But distribution is a different story. Today, you can get investment and insurance products online, and even digital-only banks popping up across the region rapidly. But financial advice remains staunchly offline, blocking consumers from jumping on digital options confidently.

Planner Bee was created to bridge this gap. Our vision is to allow end-users to be able to take charge of their money, and advisors to be empowered to provide holistic financial planning.

Our awards and achievements

How we make money

We work with independent insurance brokers, insurers and other financial institutions and get paid a referral fee for each sale—you’re not paying any extra if you buy a product through us. We don’t give preferential treatment to any insurer over another, because of the fees we collect. We’re committed to offering you a transparent and neutral platform, so that you know we have your back as we build toward your dreams together.

Is Planner Bee affiliated with any insurance company or bank?
No, we’re an independent entity, which means that we’re not owned by an insurance company, nor do we own one. We list information of financial products from multiple financial institutions without bias or favour toward any of them. It’s important to us that we help you find the right product for your needs, no matter which company you buy from.
